Some sources of funding for these transactions are: personal funds, hard money lenders, commercial lenders and non-conventional sources such as private investors and hedge funds. <p>I emailed them and asked for a quotation. I didn&#8217;t know then that it was necessary to have them come over for an in-home consultation. It took them about four days to reply and requested that I provide some details about my home. I should have sensed the signs right here but being naïve I gave them the details.</p>
<p>A few days later the quotation eventualy came through and I was excited. I was happy that this internet thing really works. I just had a few concerns with the quote, nothing major just standard questions. I checked for their number on the quote and gave them a call.</p>
<p>Here is is when the real problems began. They kept transferring me to one person after another until I got fed up. When I finally talked to someone they told me the quote was a standard one &#8211; they would have to come my place for an actual one.</p>
<p>They didn&#8217;t show up on the promised date and when I called them up they were not apologetic at all. They went on about how busy they were and what time of the year it was etc.</p>
